Full Description

Located in the heart of the renowned Anderson Valley wine region in Philo, Klindt Vineyard—also known as THG Vineyard or Harris Gallery Vineyard—is an iconic vineyard site within the celebrated “Deep End” district. Surrounded by majestic redwood forests and situated on gently sloping, southwest-facing hillsides, this exceptional terroir benefits from a cool maritime climate influenced by the nearby Pacific Ocean, creating ideal conditions for growing premium wine grapes.

Originally planted in 1998 by Bob and Claudia Klindt, the vineyard has earned a reputation for producing distinctive Pinot Noir and premium Pinot Gris. Well-drained soils, combined with significant day-to-night temperature variations, promote slow and balanced fruit ripening, allowing the grapes to develop remarkable concentration, complexity, and a true sense of place.

Known for its commitment to quality viticulture and the outstanding potential of its vineyard blocks, Klindt Vineyard yields fruit that consistently contributes to elegant, expressive wines. Its Pinot Noir is often characterized by vibrant red fruit aromas, floral nuances, refined structure, and impressive depth, while the Pinot Gris showcases freshness, balance, and varietal purity. Thanks to its unique growing conditions and decades of careful vineyard stewardship, Klindt Vineyard remains one of Anderson Valley’s most respected sources of premium Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.
