Perched on the gentle western hills overlooking Boonville, Run Dog Vineyard is an exclusive 1-acre organic monopole that showcases the precision and craftsmanship of small-scale Anderson Valley viticulture. Its elevated hillside location offers excellent sun exposure, natural drainage, and cooling maritime influences, creating ideal conditions for producing premium Pinot Noir.

Owned and meticulously hand-farmed by Phil and Claire Baxter of Baxter Winery, the vineyard is managed with a strong commitment to sustainable and organic farming practices. Every aspect of the site is carefully tended to encourage vine balance, fruit concentration, and a true expression of the vineyard’s unique terroir.

Run Dog Vineyard is planted entirely to the renowned Pommard clone of Pinot Noir, a variety celebrated for producing wines with depth, structure, and complex aromatics. The vineyard’s alluvial soils provide excellent drainage and encourage deep root development, allowing the vines to produce fruit with remarkable intensity and character.
