Legendary Pioneer Site of Complex Slopes in Boonville
An iconic 76-acre pioneer vineyard in Boonville, originally planted in 1969. Known for decomposed sandstone and clay soils, it supplies world-class Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer
The legendary Ferrington Vineyard is widely regarded as one of the most historically significant grand cru sites in the Anderson Valley AVA.
Originally established in 1969, the sprawling 167-acre property features 76 acres of active vines planted on a complex mosaic of steep slopes and valley floor loam just outside Boonville.
Acquired in 1996 by Kurt Schoeneman, the vineyard underwent a comprehensive modernization with top viticulturists, planting elite selections of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer on decomposed sandstone and clay soils.
Today, it supplies iconic labels such as Williams Selyem and Twomey, alongside the Schoeneman family’s own Fathers & Daughters Cellars.
